APPLICATION SUPPORT ANALYST – DEVOPS (SWIFT) @ PERSOL APAC
The Application Support Analyst – DevOps (SWIFT) role is a critical position within the banking industry, located at Jalan Dato Onn, Kuala Lumpur. The primary focus of this role is to provide Level 1 and Level 2 support for essential financial systems including SWIFT, RENTAS, and various cross-border applications. The successful candidate will ensure the stability and efficiency of interbank platforms through consistent monitoring and proactive technical intervention. The salary for this position is stated as up to RM8,500 per month based on the candidate's professional experience and technical proficiency.
Key responsibilities include performing system health checks, patching, software upgrades, and routine maintenance tasks. You will be tasked with troubleshooting technical incidents, performing root cause analysis, and maintaining detailed ITIL documentation. Furthermore, you will support User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and Disaster Recovery/Business Continuity Management (DR/BCM) exercises to ensure strict compliance with SWIFT and Bank Negara Malaysia (BNM) standards. The role also involves participating in automation initiatives using scripting languages to drive process improvements across the IT infrastructure.

Key Requirements
Minimum 2–5 years of professional experience in application or system support roles.
Hands-on experience with SWIFT, BNM systems, or other interbank platforms is mandatory.
Strong knowledge of SAA (Swift Alliance Access), SAG (Swift Alliance Gateway), and Alliance Cloud.
Technical proficiency with Hardware Security Modules (HSM), RENTAS, and RTGS systems.
Solid technical exposure to operating systems including Linux, AIX, and Windows.
Proven experience with databases such as Oracle, SQL, and Postgres.
Familiarity with middleware tools and system monitoring solutions.
Strong understanding of ITIL frameworks, SDLC, Business Continuity Management (BCM), and Disaster Recovery (DR).
Basic scripting skills in Shell, PowerShell, or Python for automation tasks.
Exceptional troubleshooting capabilities and the ability to perform root cause analysis.
A background in the banking industry is considered a significant advantage.
