FINANCE + ACCOUNTING SPECIALIST @ PATH WITH ART
Path with Art is looking for a detail-oriented finance professional who enjoys bringing order, clarity, and care to the day-to-day work behind the scenes. This contract role supports our small team by keeping financial records accurate, organized, and audit-ready so our programs can focus on healing through the arts. You will be responsible for entering invoices and expenses in QuickBooks Online, recording deposits, grants, and contributions, and reviewing expenses in Expensify to ensure all data is current and compliant.
This position is located in Seattle and begins as a hybrid role with the potential to transition to fully remote work. It offers a flexible schedule of 15–25 hours per week on a 3-month contract with the potential for extension. The compensation for this role is $40–$60 per hour, depending on experience. You will keep documentation organized and complete while supporting vendor tracking and 1099 preparation, coordinating closely with both the Finance and Development teams to maintain organizational health.

Key Requirements
Proficiency in QuickBooks Online for managing day-to-day invoices and expenses.
Proven experience recording various financial inputs including deposits, grants, and contributions.
Ability to review, categorize, and manage company expenses using Expensify.
Strong organizational skills to maintain complete and audit-ready documentation.
Knowledge of vendor tracking protocols and preparation of 1099 tax forms.
Ability to collaborate effectively with internal Finance and Development teams.
High level of attention to detail and accuracy in financial data entry.
Previous experience working within a nonprofit or arts-focused organization.
Capability to work a flexible part-time schedule of 15 to 25 hours per week.
Strong communication skills for coordinating with team members and vendors.
