SENIOR F5 NETWORK ENGINEER @ PANASIA GROUP
The Senior F5 Network Engineer role is a specialized position within our banking client's infrastructure department. You will focus on load balancing and application delivery controllers to ensure that critical banking applications remain available and performant. Your primary duties will involve the configuration and management of F5 LTM and GTM modules, as well as the development of custom iRules to manage complex traffic patterns. This role is vital for the scalability and reliability of the bank's digital services. This is an onsite, yearly contract position in Kuala Lumpur, restricted to Malaysian citizens. You will collaborate with application developers and network teams to optimize traffic flow and ensure secure SSL offloading. The environment is fast-paced and requires a candidate who can maintain high standards of service delivery while managing periodic infrastructure upgrades and maintenance windows.
Key Requirements
5-8 years of relevant experience specifically in network engineering and load balancing.
Advanced proficiency in F5 Local Traffic Manager (LTM).
Experience with F5 Global Traffic Manager (GTM) for DNS-based load balancing.
Ability to write and troubleshoot custom F5 iRules.
Strong understanding of TCP/IP, DNS, and HTTP/HTTPS protocols.
Experience with SSL/TLS certificate management and offloading.
Proven ability to optimize application performance through traffic management.
Familiarity with network monitoring and logging tools.
Capability to participate in on-call rotations for critical system support.
Must be a Malaysian citizen for this onsite contract role.
