NETWORK FIREWALL ENGINEER @ PANASIA GROUP
We are looking for an experienced Network Firewall Engineer to secure the mission-critical infrastructure of a prominent bank. The successful candidate will manage and maintain complex network security environments, focusing on firewall technologies like Check Point and Palo Alto. This role is essential for defending the bank's digital perimeter and ensuring secure communications across the network. You will be tasked with configuring security policies, troubleshooting connectivity issues, and monitoring traffic for potential threats. This position is based onsite in Kuala Lumpur and is a yearly extendable contract for Malaysian citizens. You will work within a team of security experts to provide robust protection and high network availability. Responsibilities also include using diagnostic tools like Wireshark to analyze network protocols and resolve performance bottlenecks. Your expertise will contribute to the ongoing security hardening of the bank's IT landscape.
Key Requirements
5-8 years of professional experience in network security engineering.
In-depth knowledge of Check Point and Palo Alto firewall management.
Experience with Bluecoat web security and proxy solutions.
Proficiency in using Wireshark for deep packet analysis and troubleshooting.
Strong understanding of network protocols, routing, and switching.
Ability to design and implement complex security policies.
Experience in managing security incidents and vulnerability remediation.
Knowledge of VPN technologies and secure remote access solutions.
Excellent analytical skills to identify and mitigate network security risks.
Malaysian citizenship is required for this onsite banking position.
