IT ASSET ANALYST @ PANASIA GROUP
The IT Asset Analyst role is a fantastic opportunity for early-career professionals to join a leading banking institution. You will be responsible for the end-to-end management of IT assets, ensuring that all hardware and software inventories are accurately tracked and governed. This position involves working closely with procurement and IT teams to maintain strict inventory governance and compliance with organizational standards. You will utilize tools like GLPI to maintain a comprehensive database of assets. The role involves conducting regular audits, generating reports on asset utilization, and assisting in the optimization of the IT lifecycle. This is an onsite position in Kuala Lumpur offered on a yearly contract basis with the possibility of extension. It is specifically open to Malaysian citizens who are eager to develop their skills in IT Asset Management within a professional banking context.
Key Requirements
1-3 years of relevant experience in IT asset management or related fields.
Practical knowledge of ITAM processes and best practices.
Familiarity with asset management software, specifically GLPI.
Strong skills in maintaining inventory governance and data accuracy.
Ability to perform regular audits of physical and digital IT assets.
Understanding of the IT procurement lifecycle and vendor management support.
Proficiency in using Microsoft Excel for data analysis and reporting.
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
Effective communication skills for interacting with various IT stakeholders.
Malaysian citizenship is a mandatory requirement for this role.
