MODELER – SDS2 / TEKLA @ OVATION SERVICES PRIVATE LIMITED
Ovation Services is seeking an experienced Structural Steel Modeler proficient in SDS2 and Tekla Structures. Your role will involve creating detailed, accurate 3D models of structural steel elements based on engineering and architectural drawings. The model serves as the foundation for all subsequent shop drawings and fabrication processes, demanding precision and attention to detail.
The ideal candidate will be adept at handling large and complex models, ensuring constructability, and collaborating within a team environment. You will be instrumental in generating material lists and reports directly from the model. This position is based in Chennai (Thousand Lights) and we are only accepting applications from candidates within Tamil Nadu who meet the minimum 1 year experience requirement in the specified software.

Key Requirements
Minimum 1 year and above experience in SDS2.
Minimum 1 year and above experience in Tekla Structures.
Strong knowledge of structural steel drawings.
Proficiency in creating accurate 3D structural models from design documents.
Experience setting up and managing complex structural models.
Ability to extract necessary data (reports, material lists) from the model.
Familiarity with various steel shapes and connection types.
Ensuring model cleanliness and adherence to company standards.
Collaboration with detailing and checking teams for model integrity.
Candidates must be from Tamil Nadu (India) only.
