CHECKER – SDS2 / TEKLA @ OVATION SERVICES PRIVATE LIMITED
As a Checker at Ovation Services, your primary responsibility is ensuring the highest level of accuracy and quality in all structural steel detailing output. You will thoroughly review shop drawings and fabrication documents generated by the detailing team, specifically utilizing expertise in SDS2 and Tekla Structures. This involves verifying dimensions, materials, connections, and adherence to project specifications and relevant structural codes.
We are looking for highly meticulous professionals who can identify potential errors and constructability issues before fabrication begins. The role requires strong technical communication skills to interface with detailers and engineers. This opportunity is located in Chennai (Thousand Lights) and is limited to candidates residing within Tamil Nadu.

Key Requirements
Minimum 1 year and above experience in SDS2.
Minimum 1 year and above experience in Tekla Structures.
Strong knowledge of structural steel drawings and detailing standards.
Proven ability to check and verify shop drawings for accuracy and constructability.
Expertise in reviewing connection designs and ensuring code compliance.
Ability to communicate revisions and corrections clearly to detailers.
Experience managing revision control and documentation.
In-depth understanding of AISC or relevant structural codes.
Candidates must be from Tamil Nadu (India) only.
Excellent problem-solving skills to resolve detailing conflicts.
