NextGen IT Inc is seeking a highly experienced Data Engineer specializing in AWS Iceberg to join our team in Chicago, Illinois. This is a contract role (C2C) that requires a seasoned professional with over 10 years of experience in the field. The successful candidate will be responsible for building and maintaining robust data pipelines, utilizing AWS Iceberg for optimized data storage and management. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to deliver scalable data solutions that meet the complex needs of our clients.

Key Requirements
Over 10 years of professional experience in data engineering roles.
Strong proficiency in AWS cloud services and specific expertise with AWS Iceberg.
Ability to attend a mandatory Face-to-Face (F2F) interview in Chicago, Illinois.
Advanced knowledge of ETL pipelines and data processing frameworks.
Hands-on experience with SQL for complex data manipulation and querying.
Proficiency in programming languages such as Python or Scala for data engineering tasks.
Experience with big data technologies like Apache Spark or Hadoop.
Understanding of data modeling, data warehousing, and lakehouse architectures.
