HSE ENGINEER @ NATGAS
Natgas is seeking a dedicated HSE Engineer to join our team in Egypt, with operational focuses in October, Giza and Al-Muqattam, Cairo. The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting regular inspections and site visits across various operational facilities, including gas distribution stations and pipelines. You will monitor daily operations to ensure strict adherence to safety protocols and the correct usage of personal protective equipment by all staff members. Key responsibilities include identifying on-site hazards like gas leaks or structural issues, verifying compliance with internal and external regulations, and leading emergency response drills. You will also be expected to investigate any incidents or near-misses, providing detailed reports and recommendations to prevent future occurrences. This role requires providing on-the-spot training to employees to maintain a culture of safety and excellence within the organization.
Key Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Chemical Engineering or a related Science field.
Between 2 to 5 years of professional experience in HSE within construction or oil and gas industries.
Possession of relevant OSH certifications such as NIOSH, OSHA, or NEBOSH IGC.
Extensive knowledge of ISO standards and Management system documentation (ISO 9001, 14001, 45001, 50001).
Proficiency in conducting risk assessments and reviewing comprehensive HSE plans.
Demonstrated ability to deliver effective HSE training sessions to employees.
Expert knowledge of fire-fighting systems, fire alarm design, and relevant safety codes.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, specifically Excel and PowerPoint.
Deep understanding of Egyptian labor law and environmental regulations.
Valid driving license with a strong understanding of safe driving principles.
