A highly qualified and developmentally focused Infant Nanny is sought to provide dedicated care for a four-month-old infant in Syosset, NY. This full-time role requires a nurturing, engaged, and knowledgeable professional who deeply understands early childhood development and can actively support the child’s physical, cognitive, and emotional growth. The nanny will work Monday through Friday from 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM, taking full ownership of the infant’s daily care while maintaining a clean, organized, and stimulating environment. Bilingual Spanish speakers are strongly encouraged to apply for this rewarding position.
The primary responsibilities include bottle feeding, monitoring feeding schedules, and following established safe sleep protocols. Beyond basic care, the nanny will engage in age-appropriate play, such as tummy time and sensory activities, to encourage developmental milestones. Household duties related to the infant are also required, including laundry for the baby, cleaning and sanitizing toys and feeding equipment, and keeping the nursery orderly. Compensation for this role is $40-$50 per hour, paid via W2, with vacation benefits offered and an immediate start date.
Key Requirements
Previous professional experience providing dedicated care for infants and newborns.
Deep understanding of early childhood physical, cognitive, and emotional development.
Ability to manage bottle feeding schedules and monitor infant nutritional intake.
Proficiency in following established safe sleep routines and hygiene protocols.
Skills in implementing age-appropriate play and sensory developmental activities.
Ability to maintain nursery cleanliness and manage baby-related laundry.
Capability to clean and sanitize baby toys, equipment, and feeding items.
Excellent communication skills for daily reporting on the child's wellness.
Legal authorization to work in the USA and receive payment via W2.
Availability to work Monday through Friday from 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM.
CPR and First Aid certification specifically for infants and young children.
