FIRMWARE LEAD ENGINEER @ MIRAFRA
We are seeking an experienced Firmware Lead Engineer to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining embedded firmware for high-performance network devices, with a specific focus on Layer 2 and Layer 3 protocols. You will write efficient C code on embedded Linux and RTOS platforms, ensuring the stability and performance of our networking products through rigorous development and debugging processes.
You will collaborate closely with both hardware and software engineering teams to ensure seamless system integration and optimal product performance. The role involves using advanced tools like Wireshark and tcpdump for packet analysis and troubleshooting to identify and resolve complex issues. Additionally, you will be tasked with documenting design and test procedures to maintain high standards of quality and reliability in our development lifecycle, contributing to cutting-edge projects in a collaborative environment.

Key Requirements
Minimum of 3 to 15 years of experience in firmware development for networking products.
Strong proficiency in C programming language.
Extensive experience with embedded systems and architecture.
Deep understanding of Layer 2 networking protocols such as VLAN and STP.
Deep understanding of Layer 3 networking stacks including OSPF and BGP.
Hands-on experience with embedded Linux or RTOS platforms.
Proficiency using network debugging tools like Wireshark and tcpdump for packet analysis.
Demonstrated ability to optimize firmware performance and fix complex bugs.
Excellent problem-solving, communication, and interpersonal skills.
Ability to join the team within a notice period of 0-30 days.
