The successful candidates will focus on the development and maintenance of embedded firmware for network devices, emphasizing Layer 2 and Layer 3 protocol implementation. This position requires writing high-quality C code within embedded Linux or RTOS environments to support various networking functionalities and hardware integrations.

Key Requirements
3 to 15 years of professional experience in Datacom or firmware development.
High level of proficiency in C programming for embedded systems.
Solid grasp of networking fundamentals and the OSI model.
Experience implementing Layer 2 protocols like VLAN and Spanning Tree Protocol.
Knowledge of Layer 3 routing protocols such as OSPF and BGP.
Practical experience working with embedded Linux environments.
Skill in using diagnostic tools like Wireshark for network traffic analysis.
Strong analytical skills for debugging and performance optimization.
Effective communication skills for working in a collaborative team setting.
Availability to start within a 0-30 day notice period.
