WASTEWATER ENGINEER @ MILTON RESOURCING
Milton Resourcing is currently inviting applications for the position of Wastewater Engineer based in Durban, South Africa. We are looking for a dedicated professional who can contribute to the development and optimization of wastewater treatment systems and infrastructure. The role involves managing the full project lifecycle, from initial feasibility studies and design through to construction oversight and final commissioning. The ideal candidate should possess a strong technical background in civil engineering and a deep understanding of hydraulic systems. You will be expected to collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams to solve complex engineering challenges while adhering to local and international regulatory frameworks. Key Requirements
Bachelor's Degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering or a related field.
Minimum of 5 years of professional experience in wastewater infrastructure design.
Professional Engineering registration (PrEng) with ECSA is highly preferred.
Proven proficiency in hydraulic modeling software and CAD tools.
Strong understanding of biological and chemical wastewater treatment processes.
Experience in managing project budgets and timelines from inception to completion.
In-depth knowledge of South African National Standards (SANS) and environmental laws.
Excellent communication skills for client liaison and technical presentations.
Ability to conduct site inspections and oversee construction quality control.
Demonstrated leadership skills and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
