Milkbasket is actively seeking a highly motivated and experienced individual to join our team as a Department Manager specializing in critical operational logistics. This key management role is based in the Bangalore Bannerghatta area and is central to ensuring the efficiency and accuracy of our supply chain. The core responsibilities revolve around end-to-end inventory management, spanning all stages from initial inward processing and the crucial creation of Goods Receipt Notes (GRN), through to diligent maintenance of stock levels and efficient handling of outward logistics. Candidates must demonstrate a proactive approach to maintaining stock integrity and optimizing flow within a fast-paced retail or e-commerce environment.
The successful candidate must possess a minimum of 4 to 5 years of relevant professional experience gained within the E-commerce, Retail, or Logistics industries. As a Department Manager, you will be expected to lead a team, implement best practices for warehouse operations, and contribute directly to meeting operational KPIs. Your expertise in managing stock discrepancies, optimizing warehouse layout, and driving process improvements will be vital to the sustained success of Milkbasket's operational framework. Key Requirements

Minimum of 4-5 years of relevant professional experience in E-commerce, Retail, or Logistics sectors. Proven expertise in comprehensive Inventory Management, including Inward processing procedures. Demonstrated experience with Goods Receipt Note (GRN) documentation and verification. Ability to effectively manage Outward logistics and dispatch operations for timely delivery. Strong leadership and team management capabilities to oversee department staff and operations. Excellent analytical skills necessary for demand forecasting and inventory optimization strategies. Proficiency in using Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) or equivalent inventory software solutions. Ability to implement and ensure strict compliance with operational safety and quality standards. Exceptional organizational and verbal communication skills required for cross-functional coordination.
