IT SPECIALIST / INFORMATION SECURITY OFFICER @ MEXC
We are looking for a dedicated IT Specialist and Information Security Officer to join our team in Istanbul, Turkey. This role operates on a hybrid working mode, combining the benefits of remote work with necessary on-site coordination to ensure the highest standards of our information security infrastructure. You will be responsible for maintaining our local IT systems, implementing robust security protocols, and protecting our data assets from potential threats. This role is critical in ensuring that our regional operations remain secure, compliant, and technically efficient as we scale our presence in Turkey.
In addition to technical maintenance, you will serve as the primary point of contact for internal IT support and security audits. You will work closely with our global security team to align local practices with international standards. Key Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
Professional certification such as CISSP, CISM, or CompTIA Security+ is preferred.
Fluent in Turkish and professional proficiency in English.
Experience managing IT infrastructure in a corporate environment.
Strong knowledge of network protocols, firewalls, and encryption standards.
Ability to conduct vulnerability assessments and risk management.
Experience with cloud security and hybrid work environment setups.
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Strong communication skills for internal technical support.
Knowledge of financial industry security regulations and compliance.
