VENDOR RELATIONS & SOCIAL MEDIA MANAGER @ METASYS GLOBAL
Metasys Global is actively seeking a dynamic Vendor Relations & Social Media Intern to join our team in the Tamboril region of the Dominican Republic. This hybrid role is designed for a proactive individual who will support supplier coordination and digital brand content for a premium cigar brand. The position involves a unique blend of field visits to cigar factories and tobacco farms, as well as remote tasks focused on social media engagement and operations. Candidates will have the opportunity to gain hands-on exposure to the Dominican cigar industry, vendor sourcing, and brand development. Monthly Stipend: $100–$120.
The core responsibilities include identifying and communicating with production contacts, tracking product samples, and managing shipments. On the digital side, the intern will manage brand social media accounts, capture content during field visits, and support the overall posting and engagement strategy. This role requires constant communication with vendors and professional interactions in both English and Spanish to ensure quality feedback and timeline adherence. Key Requirements
Must reside in or near Tamboril, Dominican Republic.
Fluent in English (Written and Verbal) for professional communication.
Fluent in Spanish (Written and Verbal) for vendor interaction.
Strong organizational and time-management skills.
Ability to perform field visits to cigar factories and tobacco farms.
Proficiency in managing social media accounts like Instagram and LinkedIn.
Comfortable with capturing digital content during on-site visits.
Experience or strong interest in the Dominican cigar ecosystem and industry.
Ability to track samples and coordinate local and international shipments.
Competence in organizing and maintaining vendor data and documentation.
