INFRASTRUCTURE ENGINEER @ MEMBER SUPPORT SERVICES (MSS)
Member Support Services (MSS) is currently seeking a dedicated and skilled Infrastructure Engineer to join our dynamic team in New Jersey. This is a hands-on role that requires the successful candidate to manage and maintain our critical IT infrastructure, ensuring high availability and performance across all systems. The position involves a mix of remote monitoring and on-site visits to various Credit Union locations, necessitating local travel to ensure that hardware and network systems are functioning optimally at all sites.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for deploying, configuring, and troubleshooting network and server components. You will work closely with our internal IT team to implement security best practices and optimize system workflows. As an Infrastructure Engineer, you will play a vital role in supporting the technological backbone that allows our member Credit Unions to provide exceptional service. Key responsibilities include managing virtualization environments, overseeing cloud integration, and providing technical leadership during infrastructure upgrades and maintenance cycles.

Key Requirements
Proven experience as an Infrastructure Engineer or in a similar technical role.
Deep understanding of server administration including Windows and Linux environments.
Expertise in virtualization technologies such as VMware or Hyper-V.
Strong knowledge of networking protocols, firewalls, and security configurations.
Ability to perform hands-on hardware installations and physical maintenance.
Willingness to travel locally to Credit Union sites as required.
Proficiency in managing cloud-based infrastructure (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
Experience with backup systems and disaster recovery planning.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to resolve complex technical issues.
Excellent communication skills to collaborate with team members and stakeholders.
Relevant industry certifications such as CCNA, MCSE, or CompTIA Network+.
Valid driver's license for necessary site visits.
