ICT OFFICER (FIELD INSTALLATIONS & SUPPORT) @ MATHEOS TECHS
matheos techs is seeking a dedicated and hands-on ICT Officer specialized in Field Installations and Support to join our technical team in Dar es Salaam. This role is designed for a professional who excels in site-based work, independently managing ICT infrastructure projects from initial site surveys to final client handover. The successful candidate will be responsible for the end-to-end installation and maintenance of critical systems including LAN networks, high-definition CCTV, and sophisticated access control mechanisms.
In addition to physical installations, the ICT Officer will provide comprehensive technical support for biometric attendance systems and PABX telephony. The role requires a strong understanding of Windows environments and server operations to ensure seamless integration of hardware and software solutions. Candidates must be prepared to travel to various client locations, maintaining high safety standards and meticulous installation records while ensuring system stability and client satisfaction across all projects.

Key Requirements
Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
Minimum of two (2) years of hands-on, field-based ICT installation experience.
Proven practical experience in LAN Installation and Network Configuration (structured cabling, switch and router setup).
Hands-on experience with CCTV Installation including camera mounting, cabling, and NVR configuration.
Ability to install and configure Access Control Systems, door controllers, and power setups.
Experience with Biometric Attendance Systems, including user enrollment and basic reporting setup.
Proficiency in PABX Systems (both Analog and IP) installation and fault diagnosis.
Strong practical troubleshooting skills and ability to work independently on client sites.
Willingness to travel to various client locations and perform physical installation tasks.
Proficiency in installing and supporting Windows OS, Microsoft Office, and basic Server operating systems.
