Maryland Psychiatric Care is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW-C) to join our expanding behavioral health team. We serve clients throughout the state of Maryland and are looking for clinicians who are passionate about delivering high-quality mental health care. This role offers the choice between a full-time employee position with benefits or an independent contractor role, providing the flexibility to manage your own schedule and caseload according to your professional needs.
The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting psychosocial assessments, developing comprehensive treatment plans, and providing individual, family, or group therapy. You will work within a supportive, collaborative environment alongside psychiatric providers and a multidisciplinary care team. We offer administrative and billing support, a consistent referral stream, and options for telehealth or evening hours to help you maintain a healthy work-life balance while making a significant impact on community mental health outcomes.

Key Requirements
Active Maryland LCSW-C license (required).
Experience in outpatient mental health settings preferred.
Proficiency in psychosocial assessments and treatment planning.
Strong clinical documentation and record-keeping skills.
Effective communication skills for client and team collaboration.
Ability to work independently in a clinical environment.
Experience delivering trauma-informed and culturally responsive care.
Ability to collaborate with psychiatric providers and multidisciplinary teams.
Familiarity with electronic health records (EHR) systems.
Commitment to ethical standards and patient confidentiality.
