SOFTWARE ENGINEER IV @ MANIFEST TECHNOLOGY
MANIFEST Technology is seeking a highly skilled Software Engineer IV to join a dedicated team delivering secure, scalable, and high-performance enterprise applications for the finance industry. As a key technical partner, you will design and implement scalable backend services and develop enterprise-grade front-end applications. The role emphasizes building framework-agnostic, reusable UI components that support long-term architectural flexibility and portability. This is a fully remote W-2 position for US citizens only, requiring ANACI clearance for a duration of 12 or more months.
In this role, you will collaborate with product teams to translate business requirements into effective technical solutions while ensuring adherence to secure coding standards and application security best practices. Responsibilities include developing and maintaining accessible user interfaces in compliance with WCAG 2.1 AA standards, architecting microservices, and optimizing RESTful APIs for performance and reliability. You will also participate in code reviews, drive continuous innovation in development tools and frameworks, and support cloud-based application deployment within AWS environments to ensure high-quality deliverables and operational excellence.

Key Requirements
Minimum of 8+ years of experience in the software engineering field.
Advanced proficiency in Core Java (version 17 or higher).
Strong experience with TypeScript and JavaScript (ES2020+).
Expertise in the Spring Ecosystem including Spring Framework, Security, and Integration.
Proven experience with Spring Boot and Spring Batch.
Knowledge of database systems such as SQL, Oracle, and PostgreSQL with performance tuning skills.
Experience with JMS and Messaging Middleware like IBM MQ or ActiveMQ.
Ability to build Web Components and Custom Elements for reusable UI architectures.
Deep understanding of Accessibility standards including WCAG 2.1 AA.
Professional experience with the Angular framework and UI design system architecture.
