QUANTITY SURVEYOR @ MAGARE COMPANY LIMITED
Magare Company Limited is looking for a qualified Quantity Surveyor to join our team in Mwanza, supporting various mining and industrial initiatives. The role focuses on the financial management of projects, including cost estimation and the preparation of Bills of Quantities for electrical and mechanical works. You will play a vital role in ensuring that projects remain within budget while maintaining high standards of contract management. The ideal candidate will have at least three years of experience and a strong understanding of the construction industry, particularly within the mining sector. This role involves travel and working at remote project sites, requiring a professional who is adaptable and detail-oriented.
Key Requirements
3+ years’ experience in electrical, mechanical, or construction projects
Skilled in detailed cost estimation for industrial works
Proficiency in preparing Bills of Quantities
Experience in budgeting and financial control
Solid background in contract management and administration
Previous experience working on mining sites
Willingness to work on remote mining or industrial sites
Strong analytical and mathematical skills
Familiarity with standard construction contracts
Excellent communication skills for reporting
