ASSISTANT MANAGER – OPERATIONS @ M&P EXPRESS LOGISTICS
M&P Express Logistics, a leading courier and logistics company, is expanding its team in Lahore and seeking a dynamic, customer-focused professional for the role of Assistant Manager – Operations. This position is central to the Sheikhupura and Lahore operational hubs, requiring a leader who can manage routes effectively according to area dynamics and ensure the highest standards of delivery quality. The successful candidate will work closely with the Area Chief and Manager Operations to oversee the daily outlook of couriers and maintain 100% placement of Express and MMS KPI shipments. The role involves managing urgent delivery requests from origin and Customer Support (CS), conducting daily discussions with couriers to ensure OPS compliance, and maintaining a strong follow-up system with the response desk. You will be responsible for preventing shipment loss, ensuring timely pickups, and submitting detailed end-of-day reports to management. This is a critical role that demands high efficiency and a proactive approach to logistics management within a fast-growing organization.
Key Requirements
Must be a Graduate from a recognized university.
Minimum 4-5 years of professional experience in logistics or courier operations.
Proven ability to manage and ensure timely reporting of couriers and daily outlooks.
Expertise in effective route management as per specific area dynamics.
Demonstrated capability in ensuring 100% placement of Express & MMS KPI shipments.
Experience in managing the timely departure of courier teams.
Ability to handle urgent delivery requests from origin and customer support efficiently.
Strong skills in conducting daily discussions with couriers to ensure OPS compliance.
Excellent follow-up skills with couriers and response desks to resolve queries.
Strict adherence to shipment security to avoid 'LOST' status findings.
Proficiency in preparing and submitting comprehensive end-of-day operational reports.
Strong leadership and interpersonal skills to assist Manager Operations in daily tasks.
