I/O CHARACTERIZATION ENGINEER @ LOGICSEMI TECHNOLOGIES PVT. LTD.
The job is for an I/O Characterization Engineer at Logicsemi Technologies Pvt. Ltd., located in Bangalore, India. This crucial role involves performing meticulous characterization of both standard and custom I/O libraries. The engineer will be responsible for working extensively with various high-speed interfaces, including GPIO, LVCMOS, LVDS, DDR, HSTL, and HCSL. A core function of the position is the development, validation, and ongoing maintenance of crucial I/O models such as IBIS and Liberty. Furthermore, the role requires executing comprehensive Process, Voltage, and Temperature (PVT) analyses, corner analysis, and detailed signal integrity checks to ensure optimal performance and reliability of the designs. Close collaboration with design, layout, and verification teams is essential to guarantee the accuracy and successful integration of the models. Candidates must possess strong debugging skills to efficiently analyze and troubleshoot characterization flow and model issues.

Key Requirements
Proven hands-on experience in I/O characterization methodologies.
Strong working knowledge of tools such as Cadence Liberate, Spectre, HSPICE, or similar.
Solid understanding of CMOS fundamentals, ESD concepts, and challenges at advanced technology nodes.
Exposure to signal integrity, timing, and power analysis.
Strong debugging skills with good communication and analytical ability.
Experience performing characterization of standard and custom I/O libraries.
Experience working on high-speed interfaces including GPIO, LVCMOS, LVDS, DDR, HSTL, HCSL.
Ability to develop, validate, and maintain IBIS, Liberty, and related I/O models.
Expertise in executing PVT and corner analysis and signal integrity checks.
Ability to collaborate effectively with design, layout, and verification teams to ensure model accuracy.
