PLANT OPERATOR @ LIBERTY DAHARKI POWER LIMITED
Liberty Daharki Power Limited (235 MW CCPP) is seeking a skilled and dedicated Plant Operator to join its operational team in Daharki, District Ghotki. The role involves the continuous monitoring and control of power plant equipment and systems within a Combined Cycle Power Plant environment. The operator will be responsible for ensuring that all machinery runs at peak efficiency while maintaining strict adherence to safety and environmental standards. Daily tasks include recording operational data, identifying equipment malfunctions, and taking corrective actions to prevent downtime.
The ideal candidate will possess a Diploma of Associate Engineering (DAE) in Mechanical, Chemical, or Electrical fields and have at least two to three years of hands-on experience in a CCPP setting. This experience should ideally include time spent during an apprenticeship. The position requires a high level of technical proficiency, the ability to work effectively in a team-oriented industrial environment, and a proactive approach to troubleshooting. Key Requirements
Possession of a DAE in Mechanical, Chemical, or Electrical Engineering.
2-3 years of practical experience in a Combined Cycle Power Plant (CCPP).
Experience must include a valid apprenticeship tenure in a power generation setting.
Proficiency in monitoring and controlling power plant machinery via DCS or manual panels.
Ability to perform routine inspections and identify equipment abnormalities early.
Strict adherence to health, safety, and environmental (HSE) protocols.
Capability to maintain accurate and detailed operational logs and reports.
Strong technical troubleshooting skills to resolve mechanical or electrical issues.
Effective communication skills for coordinating with maintenance and engineering teams.
Willingness to work in rotating shifts as required by plant operations.
