CCR OFFICER @ LAKE CEMENT
Lake Cement is seeking a dedicated CCR Officer to join the dynamic team at Nyati Cement. The successful candidate will be responsible for operating sophisticated plant equipment including the Vertical Roller Mill (VRM), Ball Mill, Kiln, and Cement & Coal Mill from the Central Control Room. The primary focus of this role is to ensure all production targets are met efficiently while maintaining the highest standards of operational steady-state performance and troubleshooting any emerging technical issues.
Beyond technical operations, the CCR Officer plays a vital role in ensuring the safety of personnel and equipment by strictly adhering to safety protocols and ISO standards. The role involves training and guiding fellow operators to enhance efficiency and minimize production costs. The ideal candidate will possess a blend of technical expertise in cement manufacturing and strong leadership skills to coordinate maintenance activities and support management during critical plant shutdowns or breakdowns.

Key Requirements
B.Sc. in Chemistry
1 to 3 years' experience in CCR Operation of Cement Plant
Good communication skills in Swahili and English
Deep understanding of Process and Operations knowledge
Excellent interpersonal skills for cross-functional collaboration
Ability to work effectively in a team environment
Sound judgement and decision-making skills under pressure
Critical thinking abilities for complex problem solving
Familiarity with ISO standards and safety compliance protocols
Proficiency in monitoring and controlling mill and kiln operations
Capability to train and mentor junior CCR operators
