This role involves leading the design, implementation, and management of scalable cloud infrastructure while driving DevOps best practices across the organization. The ideal candidate will work closely with development teams to ensure seamless deployment cycles and high system availability.
The position is based in San Jose, CA, with a preference for onsite presence, though remote work options are available. Responsibilities include mentoring junior engineers, optimizing CI/CD workflows, and ensuring robust security protocols are integrated into the infrastructure. Candidates should possess strong leadership qualities and a deep technical background in cloud-native technologies.

Key Requirements
Extensive experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) services and architecture.
Proven track record of using Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform or Pulumi.
Deep expertise in containerization and orchestration using Docker and Kubernetes (GKE).
Advanced proficiency in setting up and managing CI/CD pipelines with Jenkins or GitLab.
Experience with configuration management tools like Ansible, Chef, or Puppet.
Strong scripting skills in languages such as Python, Go, or Bash.
Hands-on experience with cloud monitoring tools like Prometheus, Grafana, or Stackdriver.
Ability to lead and mentor a team of engineers in a collaborative environment.
Strong understanding of cloud security, IAM, and networking fundamentals.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills for complex infrastructure issues.
Ability to work effectively in both onsite (San Jose) and remote environments.
