STRUCTURAL ENGINEER – UNDERGROUND (UG) (1 POSITION) @ KUSHI HR
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Structural Engineer specializing in Underground (UG) systems for our operations in Abu Dhabi. The successful candidate will be responsible for the structural design and analysis of various underground components within the Oil and Gas and EPC sectors. This role involves working on complex projects including underground structures, pipe supports, and foundational elements essential for large-scale industrial infrastructure. You will be expected to collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams to ensure all designs meet international standards and project specific requirements while providing technical expertise throughout the project lifecycle. The ideal candidate should possess between 5 to 12 years of relevant experience, with a strong background in utilizing industry-standard software such as SP3D, STAAD, and ETABS. Responsibilities will include the development of drainage systems, fire water networks, and duct banks. We are looking for a detail-oriented professional who can manage engineering deliverables from conceptual design through to construction support. Key Requirements
Minimum of 5 to 12 years of professional experience in Structural Engineering.
Extensive background working on Oil and Gas or EPC Projects.
Specific expertise in the design and analysis of Underground Structures.
Proven proficiency in designing Pipe Supports and various Foundation types.
Deep understanding of Drainage Systems and Fire Water infrastructure requirements.
Experienced in the design and layout of electrical and communication Duct Banks.
Advanced proficiency in SP3D modeling software for structural design.
Strong analytical skills using STAAD.Pro for structural calculations.
Ability to perform complex building and structure analysis using ETABS software.
Bachelor's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering from a recognized institution.
Excellent communication and coordination skills for multi-disciplinary team environments.
Working knowledge of international building codes and industry standards.
