SENIOR AI ENGINEER @ KNEZEVIC & ASSOCIATES
This is a long-term growth opportunity supporting an innovative company in the real estate tech space, facilitated by Knezevic & Associates. We are seeking a highly skilled Senior AI Engineer to join the founding AI team. This role offers a unique chance to architect and construct AI-powered agents from the ground up, significantly influencing intelligent product experiences within a rapidly expanding ecosystem. The technology stack relies on Ruby on Rails and React, leveraging robust AWS AI infrastructure. A clear career path toward a Lead AI Engineer position is available for high performers. The ideal candidate must be legally authorized to work in the US.
The core responsibilities involve the full AI lifecycle, from design through deployment and optimization. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, building, and maintaining various AI-powered agents
autonomous, conversational, and workflow-driven. This includes architecting and deploying scalable generative AI systems utilizing AWS AI services and relevant open-source frameworks. A significant part of the role requires close collaboration with backend (Ruby on Rails) and frontend (React) teams to seamlessly integrate new AI features into the company
core product offerings. A crucial technical aspect involves building and managing efficient data pipelines for ingestion, transformation, and model inference, particularly utilizing large real estate datasets. Furthermore, the engineer will monitor and optimize model performance, ensuring high accuracy, reliability, and cost-efficiency of AI agents and APIs. Expertise in applying LLMs, RAG methodologies, and advanced agentic AI to solve complex, real-world business challenges is mandatory. The position also requires contributing actively to coding standards and the overall AI technical roadmap.
This position is based in the United States and offers flexibility. Candidates can choose between a hybrid model requiring 3 days per week onsite in Bellevue, WA, or a fully remote option for candidates residing elsewhere within the US.

Key Requirements
Bachelor
or advanced degree in Computer Science, Data Science, or related field
5+ years of experience in AI/ML or software engineering with production-grade AI systems
Strong proficiency in Python
Experience with PyTorch, TensorFlow, LangChain, or similar frameworks
Hands-on experience deploying AI models in cloud environments (AWS preferred)
Strong understanding of LLMs, Generative AI, and RAG methodologies
Solid knowledge of algorithms, data structures, and distributed systems
Proven experience working cross-functionally with backend and frontend teams
Ability to design, build, and maintain AI-powered agents (autonomous, conversational, workflow-driven)
Experience architecting and deploying scalable generative AI systems using AWS AI services
