SR MOBILE AUTOMATION ENGINEER @ KK SOFTWARE ASSOCIATES
The Senior Mobile Automation Engineer will be responsible for ensuring the high quality, functionality, and user experience of applications across multiple mobile platforms, specifically targeting Android and iOS environments. This role involves working in tight collaboration with developers and product owners to identify, report, and mitigate defects, usability issues, and performance bottlenecks before any application is released to the public. You will be tasked with the design, development, maintenance, and implementation of both short-term and long-term automated testing solutions that align with the technical standards of the organization.
In addition to technical execution, the candidate must assess the application's ease of use and provide actionable feedback on user experience principles. You will manage the documentation and reporting of defects through standard management systems and stay current with the latest mobile testing tools and technologies. This long-term contract position requires onsite presence in Owings Mills, MD, and is open to various visa holders who possess over a decade of relevant experience in mobile automation and software development engineering in test.

Key Requirements
Minimum of 10+ years of professional experience in mobile automation or software testing.
Proven expertise in designing and implementing automated testing solutions for Android and iOS.
Ability to validate application functionality against complex design specifications and standards.
Experience in evaluating compatibility coverage and monitoring mobile application performance.
Proficiency in documenting and reporting defects clearly within a defect management system.
Strong collaborative skills to work effectively with developers and product owners to resolve issues.
Deep understanding of UX principles to provide feedback on application usability and flow.
Experience testing mobile applications for accessibility compliance and standards.
Knowledge of localization testing to ensure functionality across different languages and regions.
Familiarity with cloud-based mobile testing platforms such as BrowserStack or Sauce Labs.
Solid understanding of databases and SQL for data validation and backend testing.
Ability to maintain and update automated test suites in a fast-paced development environment.
