As a contract professional, you will be responsible for leading automated testing initiatives and ensuring the high quality of software products through rigorous Selenium-based testing protocols. The ideal candidate will be a local resident of the Hartford area, capable of integrating seamlessly into the existing agile workflow. Key responsibilities include designing robust automation scripts, collaborating with developers to identify and resolve software defects, and maintaining comprehensive test documentation to ensure long-term system stability. Key Requirements
Proven experience as a Senior Selenium Tester or in a similar automation-focused role.
Deep proficiency in using Selenium WebDriver for developing complex automated test scripts.
Strong programming skills in Java or other object-oriented languages used in test automation.
Hands-on experience with testing frameworks such as TestNG or JUnit for suite management.
Knowledge of build automation tools like Maven or Gradle to manage project dependencies.
Experience working with CI/CD pipelines, specifically using Jenkins for automated test execution.
Ability to write and execute advanced SQL queries for back-end database verification and data integrity.
Strong understanding of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and Agile/Scrum methodologies.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills for defect tracking, isolation, and reporting.
Solid communication skills to coordinate with developers, product owners, and other stakeholders.
Must be a local candidate capable of working on-site in Hartford, CT for three days a week.
