IT SECURITY PRODUCT MANAGER (IAM FOCUS) @ JESSICA TECHNOLOGIES
We are seeking a highly skilled IT Security Product Manager with a specialized focus on Identity and Access Management (IAM) to join a prominent Higher Education institution in Fairfax, Virginia. In this leadership role, you will be responsible for defining and executing the IAM strategy and roadmap, which includes overseeing the identity lifecycle, Single Sign-On (SSO), Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA), and Role-Based Access Control (RBAC). You will act as a key liaison between Academic, HR, and IT departments to ensure security protocols are seamlessly integrated across the university's ecosystem.
The successful candidate will manage major IAM platforms such as Azure AD, Okta, and SailPoint while ensuring full compliance with FERPA, HIPAA, NIST, and ISO 27001 standards. This role requires a strong blend of technical expertise and project management skills, specifically focusing on vendor relations and large-scale deployments. This is a 6+ month contract position requiring the candidate to work onsite within a 1-hour commute of Fairfax, VA. Applicants must be US Citizens or Green Card holders and possess the necessary technical certifications to lead complex cybersecurity initiatives.

Key Requirements
Minimum of 5 years of experience as an IAM or Cybersecurity Product Leader.
Demonstrated expertise in IAM strategy and roadmap development (SSO, MFA, RBAC).
Hands-on experience overseeing IAM platforms such as Azure AD, Okta, and SailPoint.
In-depth knowledge of governance and compliance standards including FERPA, HIPAA, NIST, and ISO 27001.
Strong technical proficiency with SAML, OAuth, and LDAP protocols.
Proven experience in vendor and project management within an enterprise environment.
Must possess an active PMP Certification.
Possession of security certifications such as CISSP, CISM, SC-300, or Okta Certification is highly preferred.
Prior experience working in Higher Education or the Public Sector domain.
Excellent stakeholder engagement skills with the ability to communicate across Academic and IT teams.
Must be a US Citizen (USC) or Green Card (GC) holder.
Must reside within a 1-hour commute of Fairfax, Virginia for onsite requirements.
