INTERN – GRAPHICS DESIGNER & AI @ J MLAWA
We are seeking a creative and innovative Intern – Graphics Designer & AI to join our dynamic team in Dar es Salaam. This role is designed for a powerhouse individual who is passionate about the intersection of traditional design and emerging technology. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to shape visual storytelling and brand identity while leveraging cutting-edge AI tools to drive creative innovation. You will be responsible for designing high-impact social media content, branding materials, and labels, ensuring every project meets high aesthetic standards. In this position, you will collaborate closely with the marketing team on integrated Above The Line (ATL) and Below The Line (BTL) campaigns. You will support the development of visual identities from the conceptual stage through to final execution. Key Requirements
Recent graduate in Graphic Design, Multimedia, or a related field.
Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite including Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign.
Practical experience with Canva for various design projects.
Strong understanding of typography, motion design, and brand aesthetics.
Familiarity with AI-driven design tools and their application in graphic design.
Maximum age of 30 years old at the time of application.
Ability to work full-time on-site in Dar es Salaam, Tanzania.
Collaborative mindset and the ability to work effectively within a fast-paced team.
Entrepreneurial spirit with a passion for innovation and creative technology.
Capability to support visual identity development from concept to execution.
Excellent communication skills to articulate design concepts during campaigns.
