ORACLE KUBERNETES ENGINEER @ IT VISION GROUP
We are seeking a highly skilled Oracle Kubernetes Engineer for a six-month onsite contract opportunity in Wawatosa, WI. In this role, you will be responsible for the end-to-end management and maintenance of the Oracle Kubernetes Engine (OKE) environment within Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI). You will focus on creating, managing, and scaling OKE clusters, ensuring that node pools and worker nodes are optimized for performance and reliability. The compensation for this role is $65/hr on a C2C basis with no benefits.
As a core member of the infrastructure team, you will handle the creation, update, and deletion of nodes and pods while continuously monitoring node performances to ensure system stability. This position requires a proactive professional who can manage complex deployments and collaborate effectively with technical teams to drive innovation. Your expertise in OCI and OKE will be vital in maintaining a robust containerized infrastructure that supports our business objectives.

Key Requirements
8-10 years of professional experience in IT and cloud infrastructure management.
Proven expertise as an Oracle Kubernetes Engineer with hands-on OKE experience.
In-depth knowledge of Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) services and architecture.
Extensive experience in managing and scaling Kubernetes clusters and node pools.
Proficiency in creating, updating, and deleting worker nodes and pods.
Demonstrated ability to monitor and optimize node and pod performances.
Strong understanding of Kubernetes deployments and container lifecycle management.
Experience working in an onsite environment with high levels of collaboration.
Ability to troubleshoot complex infrastructure issues within a cloud environment.
Strong communication skills and the ability to document technical processes effectively.
