FULL STACK SOFTWARE DEVELOPER @ IT COMPANY DSM
IT COMPANY DSM is seeking a skilled Full Stack Software Developer to ideate, design, and develop end-to-end software solutions across multiple platforms including web, mobile, desktop, and backend systems. The role involves building and consuming APIs, writing clean, reusable code, and participating in high-level system architecture discussions. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams such as DevOps, QA, and UI/UX to ensure high-quality delivery and continuous improvement of development processes.
Beyond technical implementation, the candidate will handle Risk and Compliance management by identifying development-related risks and supporting regulatory attestations. The role also includes Service Level Management, where you will focus on reducing time-to-resolution for service disruptions and optimizing infrastructure performance. This position requires a proactive individual who can represent the software development function in governance forums and maintain strong relationships with business stakeholders to meet evolving customer needs.

Key Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.
Minimum of 3 years’ professional experience in software development roles.
Proficiency in modern front-end frameworks such as React, Angular, or Vue.js.
Proven experience with mobile application frameworks like Flutter or React Native.
Strong back-end development skills in languages such as PHP, Java, Python, or Node.js.
Hands-on experience with MVC frameworks like Spring, Laravel, or Django.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills in both English and Swahili.
Familiarity with Agile development methodologies; Agile certification is a plus.
Experience working with various databases and Object-Relational Mapping (ORM) frameworks.
Ability to work independently, manage tasks under pressure, and take full ownership of issues.
