SPORTS PSYCHOLOGY OFFICER @ INSTITUT SUKAN NEGARA
Institut Sukan Negara (National Sports Institute of Malaysia) is looking for a passionate and driven Sports Psychology Officer to join our high-performance team. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing psychological support and mental skills training to elite athletes and coaches. This role involves developing mental toughness programs, conducting assessments, and offering counseling to enhance athletic performance in a competitive environment. We are looking for individuals who can bring vibrant energy and a collaborative spirit to our sports science department. Individuals with a genuine passion for sports and a background in human behavior are encouraged to apply. Key Requirements
Background in Psychology, Counselling, Sports Psychology or a related field.
Must genuinely enjoy sports and have a passion for the industry.
Experience playing or representing a sport at any level is a bonus.
Ability to demonstrate good energy and be a strong team player.
Experience working with athletes or in performance settings is preferred.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills to build rapport with athletes.
Ability to conduct psychological assessments and interpret results.
Willingness to work in a high-performance, fast-paced environment.
Capacity to develop and implement mental skills training programs.
Enthusiasm for helping athletes reach their peak potential through psychology.
