Indusinfohr is seeking experienced Weld Overlay Inspectors for a high-profile 6-month extendable project located in China. The ideal candidate must possess deep expertise in CRA cladding and automated welding techniques. This role is crucial for ensuring the quality and integrity of welding processes throughout all stages, from material verification to final product testing. Core responsibilities include detailed verification of material test reports (MTRs) for base and filler materials (Inconel 625/SS 316L), rigorous inspection of surface preparation (Sa2.5), and comprehensive review of Welding Procedure Specifications (WPS), Procedure Qualification Records (PQR), and welder qualifications before welding commences. During the in-process phase, the inspector will monitor critical parameters such as voltage, amperage, travel speed, and meticulously track preheat and interpass temperatures, alongside performing thickness mapping in critical areas.
Post-welding duties involve visual inspection for any defects, witnessing essential NDT procedures including Dye Penetrant (PT) and Ultrasonic (UT) testing, and conducting Positive Material Identification (PMI) to confirm chemical composition. The role also requires robust quality control, including performing hardness and ferrite testing to ensure full NACE compliance and verifying final dimensions post-machining. The successful applicant will be required to maintain precise weld tracking, raise Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs) when necessary, and compile complete final turnover dossiers. Working hours are scheduled for 10 hours per day, 6 days per week. Compensation for this project is 3100 USD CTC, which includes food, bachelor sharing accommodation, local conveyance, medical insurance, and visa provision.

Hold recognized certifications such as CWI, AWS QC1, or CSWIP 3.1/3.2.
Must be a Graduate Engineer, preferably in Mechanical discipline.
Demonstrate NDT Level 2 certification proficiency in PT, MT, UT, and RT.
Strong technical expertise in metallurgy, dilution control, and heat input.
Proficiency in industry codes including ASME BPVC Section IX, ASME B31.3, and API 6A/17D.
Extensive experience with automated welding techniques (GTAW/GMAW).
Ability to verify MTRs for materials like Inconel 625/SS 316L and inspect surface preparation (Sa2.5).
Skilled in monitoring welding parameters and tracking preheat/interpass temperatures.
Competency in compiling final turnover dossiers and maintaining weld tracking.
