DEPUTY MANAGER – DATACENTRE OPERATIONS @ INDO-MIM LIMITED
INDO-MIM LIMITED is seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional for the role of Deputy Manager – Datacentre Operations within the IT department at our Hosakote facility in Bangalore. The primary responsibility for this position is to ensure the 24x7 uptime and operational continuity of all datacentre systems, encompassing servers, storage, and network infrastructure. The candidate will be responsible for monitoring server environments, storage, network performance, power systems, HVAC, and security protocols to ensure a stable and secure operating environment at all times.
In addition to day-to-day operations, the Deputy Manager will oversee critical backup systems, disaster recovery setups, and restore testing to guarantee business continuity. This role requires a professional with a strong analytical mindset and excellent troubleshooting capabilities to handle complex technical challenges. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience with virtualization platforms, SAN/NAS storage, and high-availability architectures. Adherence to ITIL processes such as Incident, Problem, and Change Management is expected to maintain high service standards.

Key Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, ECE or a related technical field.
Minimum 10+ years of professional IT experience.
At least 8+ years of dedicated experience in datacentre operations involving servers, storage, and networking.
Possession of Microsoft Azure Fundamentals or Azure Solutions Architect certification.
Active CCNA or CCNP certification is required.
Relevant Storage or Hypervisor specific certifications.
Proven experience with virtualization platforms such as Acropolis, VMware, Hyper-V, or KVM.
Expertise in backup solutions including Veeam, Commvault, or NetBackup.
In-depth understanding of firewalls, load balancers, and network switching technologies.
Solid knowledge of monitoring tools like SolarWinds, ManageEngine, Nagios, or PRTG.
Thorough understanding of BCP/DR, clustering, and High Availability (HA) architectures.
Practical knowledge of ITIL processes including Incident, Problem, and Change Management.
