JAVA TECH LEAD @ IDC TECHNOLOGIES
We are seeking a highly skilled Java Tech Lead for an onsite position located in Pune. This role is a one-year renewable contract opportunity designed for candidates who can join immediately. As a lead engineer, you will be responsible for spearheading development projects, mentoring team members, and ensuring the delivery of high-quality, scalable software solutions. The role requires a strong technical background and the ability to work effectively in a collaborative, agile environment to meet project milestones. You will work extensively with modern Java frameworks and architectures to solve complex business problems.
Your technical responsibilities will include working with Java 8 or above, Spring Boot, and microservices architectures. You will be expected to design and consume RESTful APIs, manage both SQL and NoSQL databases, and oversee CI/CD pipelines. Experience with containerization technologies like Docker and Kubernetes is essential, as is a deep understanding of security standards such as OWASP. Candidates with experience in the insurance domain or familiarity with messaging systems like Kafka will be given preference. Key Requirements
Must have 5+ years of total experience in software engineering.
At least 2 years of experience in a senior or lead engineer role.
Deep expertise in Java (version 8 or above).
Strong proficiency in Spring Boot, Spring MVC, and Spring Data JPA.
Solid understanding of RESTful APIs, microservices, and event-driven architectures.
Hands-on experience with SQL and NoSQL databases such as MySQL, PostgreSQL, or DynamoDB.
Experience with unit testing frameworks like JUnit and Mockito.
Knowledge of API testing tools such as Postman or REST Assured.
Strong knowledge of Git, CI/CD pipelines, and build tools like Maven or Gradle.
Familiarity with containerization using Docker and cloud Kubernetes services.
Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work in a collaborative team.
Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
