Hyatt Centric Sector 17 Chandigarh is actively seeking a highly skilled and experienced Chief Engineer to lead our engineering and maintenance operations. The Chief Engineer will be responsible for the overall maintenance and upkeep of the hotel's physical plant, ensuring all systems and facilities operate efficiently, safely, and meet the high standards expected of the Hyatt brand. This critical role involves supervising the engineering team, managing budgets, and overseeing all preventative maintenance programs, ensuring seamless operations for our guests and colleagues.

Key Requirements
Proven experience as a Chief Engineer or similar senior role in a luxury hotel environment.
Expertise in mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and HVAC systems.
Strong leadership skills to manage and mentor the engineering team.
Ability to manage departmental budgets and capital expenditure projects.
Ensuring all facilities comply with health, safety, and environmental regulations.
Implementing preventative maintenance programs to minimize operational disruptions.
Responding effectively to emergency maintenance situations 24/7.
Effective communication with all hotel departments regarding maintenance activities.
Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related technical field is preferred.
Oversight of all physical assets and infrastructure of the hotel.
