LOAN RECOVERY OFFICERS (9 POSITIONS) @ HR SPACE
HR Space is currently recruiting on behalf of an esteemed client in the Microfinance and Financial Services industry to fill nine (9) positions for Loan Recovery Officers. These roles are essential for maintaining the financial health of the organization by ensuring that overdue loan accounts are followed up on systematically. Candidates will be expected to utilize a variety of methods including telephone calls, personal visits, and formal legal notices to engage with borrowers and improve overall recovery performance.
The responsibilities of these officers extend to monitoring non-performing loans, generating detailed performance reports, and working in tandem with the credit department to identify and reduce default risks. Successful applicants will demonstrate high levels of professionalism and resilience while handling difficult cases across various regions in Tanzania. This is a significant opportunity for experienced debt collection professionals to contribute to a growing financial institution. Possible work locations include various regions across the country as assigned by the client.

Key Requirements
Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business Administration, or related field.
Minimum 3+ years experience in loan recovery or debt collection.
Strong negotiation and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work under pressure and handle challenging recovery cases.
Proven track record of meeting monthly collection and recovery targets.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills for professional client engagement.
Familiarity with financial regulations and microfinance industry standards.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and data reporting tools.
Strong analytical skills to monitor and evaluate non-performing loan trends.
Willingness to conduct field visits to various regions for recovery purposes.
