SAFETY CONSULTANT (1 POSITION) @ HP SAFETY
HP Safety is seeking a dedicated Safety Consultant for an upcoming data center project located approximately 45 minutes north of Abilene. The project is expected to last approximately three months and is scheduled to begin in a couple of weeks. Housing accommodations will be provided for the duration of the project. The work schedule consists of 8-hour days, and compensation is set at $55.00–$65.00 per hour, depending on experience. The consultant will be responsible for all safety oversight on-site to ensure project compliance and worker protection throughout the construction phases. This role is ideal for a safety professional with extensive construction experience and the necessary certifications to manage high-stakes data center environments. Candidates must be prepared to start promptly and integrate into the project team to maintain rigorous safety standards.
Key Requirements
Must possess current First Aid certifications.
Must possess current CPR certifications.
Must hold a current OSHA 30 Construction Card.
Must have a degree in safety or at least five years of full-time construction safety management experience.
Must hold at least one BCSP certification such as ASP, GSP, CHST, or CSP.
Willingness to work a schedule of 8-hour days on-site.
Ability to relocate to or work in the area north of Abilene for three months.
Strong expertise in construction site safety oversight.
Proven track record in managing safety protocols for infrastructure projects.
Excellent communication skills to collaborate with project management and site crews.
