FOOD TECHNOLOGIST @ HIRECREST
Hirecrest is looking for a professional Food Technologist to join their expansion in Mali. This role involves taking a lead in the technical aspects of food production, including product development, recipe optimization, and pilot-scale trials. The technologist will play a vital role in ensuring that all products meet sensory and stability benchmarks before they are released into the market. The position also entails heavy involvement in quality assurance and compliance management. The successful candidate will be expected to implement food safety protocols (HACCP, ISO), manage manufacturing documentation, and supervise the development of Standard Operating Procedures. This is a critical role for ensuring high-quality food manufacturing standards are maintained across the company's operations in Mali.
Key Requirements
Degree in Food Science or related field
2+ years of experience in FMCG or food manufacturing
Comprehensive knowledge of food safety standards (FSSC, ISO, HACCP)
Demonstrated ability in product development and recipe improvement
Experience conducting sensory evaluations and shelf-life stability studies
Skills in executing lab trials and pilot plant operations
Proficiency in food safety compliance and labeling standards
Experience managing technical documentation and Standard Operating Procedures
Ability to identify and resolve quality-related issues in production
Excellent communication skills for cross-functional collaboration
