SENIOR IT EXECUTIVE / IT ENGINEER @ HARIDWAR UNIVERSITY
Haridwar University is looking for an experienced Senior IT Executive or IT Engineer with over 5 years of professional experience to manage a comprehensive IT infrastructure supporting over 1200 systems. The successful candidate will be responsible for the daily operations of the campus network, including Sophos Firewall configuration, Switch and VLAN management, and both Windows and Linux Server administration. The role demands expertise in virtualization using Hyper-V or VM, alongside the management of security infrastructure such as CCTV monitoring and biometric attendance systems. In addition to technical tasks, the role involves leadership responsibilities such as coordinating with vendors, managing IT assets, and providing high-level troubleshooting for payroll software and network issues at L2 and L3 levels. This is a critical position aimed at ensuring the stability and security of the university's digital environment. Applicants should be prepared to handle team leadership duties and must be capable of joining the organization within a 15-day period.
Key Requirements
B.Tech, MCA, or Diploma in IT or a related field
Minimum 5 years of experience in IT Infrastructure management
Strong knowledge of Networking and Firewall configuration
Mandatory experience in Server and Virtualization management
Experience in CCTV (Hikvision) and DVR/NVR setup and troubleshooting
Proficiency in managing Realtime Payroll software and Biometric systems
Expertise in Active Directory and User Management
Advanced Network troubleshooting skills at L2/L3 levels
Leadership and team handling capabilities for a campus environment
Immediate joiner preferred or must be able to join within 15 days
