GOLANG DEVELOPER (C# MIGRATION) @ GVR INFOTEK
GVR Infotek is seeking a highly skilled Golang Developer for an onsite position in Irving, TX, focusing on a critical C# migration project. The ideal candidate will have over seven years of professional experience in backend development using Go, with a strong emphasis on building scalable and efficient distributed systems. This role involves developing REST APIs and managing microservices architectures while facilitating the transition from legacy C# systems to modern Golang environments. Candidates must be local to the Irving, TX area, residing within a 30-mile radius, as this is a strictly onsite role.
Working within an Agile/Scrum framework, you will be responsible for the full software development lifecycle, including the implementation of Docker containers and CI/CD pipelines to ensure seamless deployment. You will collaborate closely with other engineers using Git for version control and participate in technical design discussions to solve complex architectural challenges. This position requires strong problem-solving abilities and the capacity to handle migration exposure effectively. Key Requirements
Minimum of 7+ years of professional experience in Golang (Go) development.
Proven expertise in Backend development and architectural design.
Strong experience with REST APIs and Microservices architecture.
Demonstrated exposure or experience with C# to Golang migration projects.
Solid understanding of Distributed systems and high-availability principles.
Proficiency with Docker and building automated CI/CD pipelines.
Advanced knowledge of Git for version control and source code management.
Experience working in Agile and Scrum team environments.
Must be a local candidate residing within 30 miles of Irving, TX.
