CLOUD INFRASTRUCTURE ENGINEER (GCP) @ GLOBAL IT CON. LLC
Global IT Con. LLC is urgently seeking a highly skilled Cloud Infrastructure Engineer specializing in Google Cloud Platform (GCP) to join our dynamic team in the Telecom domain. This hybrid role is based out of our offices in Dallas and Frisco, Texas. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing, and managing robust, scalable cloud infrastructure solutions, ensuring high availability and performance across our critical systems. A background in the Telecom sector is highly preferred, demonstrating an understanding of industry-specific infrastructure needs and compliance requirements. Key responsibilities include deep engagement with core GCP services such as Compute Engine, VPC networks, and Identity and Access Management (IAM). The role requires strong proficiency in container orchestration using Kubernetes, specifically GKE, and extensive experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like Terraform and configuration management using Ansible. The engineer will also be crucial in implementing and maintaining CI/CD pipelines to streamline deployment processes, focusing on network components like VPNs, Load Balancers, and Firewalls to ensure secure and efficient connectivity.
Key Requirements
Expertise in Google Cloud Platform (GCP) services (Compute Engine, VPC, IAM, GKE).
Strong networking fundamentals, including configuration of VPNs, Load Balancers, and Firewalls.
Proven experience utilizing Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools, specifically Terraform.
Experience with configuration management tools like Ansible.
Proficiency in container orchestration using Kubernetes (GKE preferred).
Experience implementing and managing CI/CD pipelines.
Prior domain experience in the Telecommunications industry.
Relevant GCP certification is a significant advantage.
Ability to work in a hybrid capacity from Dallas, TX and Frisco, TX offices.
Solid understanding of cloud security best practices and compliance.
Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills for complex infrastructure issues.
