GeniePro Healthcare is actively seeking an experienced Certified Surgical Technologist for a 13-week contract opportunity in Canton, Georgia. This role is ideal for dedicated professionals looking for guaranteed hours and a stable weekday schedule. The position involves working within a collaborative surgical team in a professional healthcare environment, focusing on patient safety and efficient procedural support. The successful candidate will work Monday through Friday from 6:30 AM to 3:00 PM, totaling 40 guaranteed hours per week. Responsibilities include preparing the operating room, maintaining a sterile field, and assisting the surgical team during various procedures. Please note that this is a travel assignment requiring candidates to reside at least 50 miles away from the facility. Immediate start is available for the right candidate who meets all the certification and experience requirements.
Key Requirements
At least 2 years of experience as a Certified Surgical Technologist
Surgical Technologist Certification from NBSTSA or NCCT
Current BLS (AHA) certification
Valid Covid Vaccination Card
Must reside at least 50 miles from the Canton, GA facility
Ability to work Monday through Friday, 6:30 AM to 3:00 PM
Expertise in maintaining sterile fields and aseptic techniques
Experience in preparing and organizing surgical instruments
Capability to assist surgeons and medical staff during complex procedures
Strong communication skills and the ability to work in a collaborative team
