This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Laboratory Information Systems (LIS) Analyst to join a leading healthcare facility located in Atlanta, Georgia. The role primarily involves the building, supporting, and maintenance of Laboratory and Pathology Information Systems (LIS) to ensure the highest standards of healthcare compliance and operational efficiency. You will be actively participating in integrated systems testing across multiple hospital departments and collaborating with various cross-functional clinical and IT teams to achieve mission-critical goals. The compensation package for this role is highly competitive with a weekly gross of $2,320, including taxable and non-taxable portions.

The position is a 4-month contract starting on April 13, 2026, and concluding on August 1, 2026. This role operates on a consistent day shift from 07:00 AM to 03:30 PM, guaranteeing 40 hours per week. Candidates must be located outside a 50-mile radius of the facility to qualify. This opportunity provides a stable daytime schedule and the chance to gain significant experience with a reputable healthcare organization while working on enterprise-level technology systems that directly impact patient care.

Key Requirements

2–4 years of professional experience as a Systems Analyst or Senior Analyst within a healthcare environment. A Bachelor’s degree in Laboratory Science, Computer Science, or a closely related technical field. Strong hands-on experience with Laboratory Information Systems (LIS) and broader Healthcare IT infrastructures. Must be currently residing outside a 50-mile radius of the Atlanta, GA (30342) facility. Proven ability to build, support, and maintain Laboratory and Pathology Information Systems effectively. In-depth understanding of healthcare regulations and maintaining system compliance. Demonstrated experience in participating in integrated systems testing across various hospital departments. Exceptional collaborative skills to work alongside cross-functional clinical and IT personnel. Ability to manage a 40-hour work week consistently during the day shift. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills focused on mission-critical healthcare systems.
