Four Engineers is seeking a motivated and passionate Assistant Embedded Design Engineer to join our Research and Development team. In this role, you will be at the forefront of innovation, assisting in the design, coding, testing, and integration of complex embedded systems tailored for advanced defense and industrial applications. This position offers an exceptional opportunity to gain hands-on experience with real-world projects and grow within a high-speed, technology-driven engineering environment.

As an integral part of the R&D division, your daily tasks will involve developing firmware using C/C++ for various microcontrollers such as STM32, PIC, and ARM Cortex. You will support the hardware development lifecycle by creating schematic designs and PCB layouts using industry-standard tools like Altium Designer and KiCad. Furthermore, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams to troubleshoot and validate embedded circuits, ensuring all electronic modules meet the highest standards of reliability and performance.

Key Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Electronics, Mechatronics, or Computer Engineering. At least 1 year of experience in embedded systems design, firmware development, or electronics testing. Proficiency in C/C++ programming specifically for microcontrollers. Hands-on experience with PCB design tools such as Altium Designer, Proteus, or KiCad. Solid understanding of communication protocols including UART, SPI, I2C, CAN, and RS-485. Familiarity with lab equipment like oscilloscopes, multimeters, and logic analyzers for circuit validation. Basic understanding of circuit design, sensors, and various interfacing techniques. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to troubleshoot complex electronic subsystems. Ability to prepare and maintain detailed technical documentation and testing procedures. Effective communication skills and the ability to work within a collaborative, team-oriented environment.
