This position is based in Bellevue, WA, and is a Dayone Onsite role, meaning the successful candidate will be expected to work from the office location starting from the first day of the engagement. The role offers a competitive hourly rate of 50/hr C2C for qualified senior professionals. The project involves complex data engineering tasks and the implementation of robust cloud-based data solutions to support large-scale analytics initiatives. The ideal candidate will have over 10 years of experience in the industry and a deep understanding of the Microsoft Azure data ecosystem. You will be responsible for building and optimizing data pipelines, managing cloud storage, and integrating cutting-edge AI services into existing data workflows. This is a great opportunity for a senior-level engineer to take on a lead role in a high-visibility project while utilizing a wide array of Azure tools and services. Key Requirements
Minimum of 10+ years of professional experience in data engineering and cloud architecture.
Expertise in designing and managing data solutions using Azure Synapse Analytics.
Hands-on experience with Microsoft Fabric for unified data analytics.
Strong proficiency in SQL Server development and database administration.
Advanced programming skills in Python for data manipulation and automation.
Experience in managing and configuring Azure Storage solutions.
Expertise in building complex ETL/ELT pipelines with Azure Data Factory.
Proficiency in developing data visualizations and dashboards using Power BI.
Familiarity with implementing and integrating Azure OpenAI services.
Ability to work onsite in Bellevue, WA starting from day one.
Experience with C2C (Corp-to-Corp) contract engagement models.
Proven track record of working in long-term enterprise-level IT projects.
