We are seeking a highly skilled Java Backend Developer with a focus on Artificial Intelligence to join our dynamic team in Austin, TX. This is an onsite position specifically for local candidates who are ready to contribute to the development and enhancement of sophisticated backend systems. The successful candidate will work on integrating AI functionalities into core Java-based services, ensuring high performance, scalability, and seamless user experiences within our software ecosystem.
In this role, you will be responsible for end-to-end API development and the maintenance of microservices architectures. You will leverage your expertise in Spring and Spring Boot frameworks to build robust services while utilizing MongoDB for efficient NoSQL data management. As part of our local Austin team, you will collaborate with cross-functional departments to translate business requirements into technical solutions and participate in the entire software development lifecycle, from initial design to deployment and monitoring.

Key Requirements
Strong proficiency in Java programming language.
Extensive experience with Spring and Spring Boot frameworks.
Proven expertise in API Development and integration.
Deep understanding of microservices architecture.
Experience working with NoSQL databases, specifically MongoDB.
Knowledge of AI/Machine Learning concepts and integration into backend systems.
Must be a local candidate residing in or near Austin, TX.
Experience in designing and deploying scalable backend services.
Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work in an onsite team environment.
Ability to write clean, maintainable, and efficient code following industry standards.
